History:

Abacus RDI Deltron (previously RDI - Réalisations et Diffusion pour l'Industrie) started as an independent distributor in 1971 focusing on passive and electro-mechanical components.  RDI was bought in 1996 by the US Company Control Devices Inc (CDI) and resold afterwards to the British group First Tech. At the beginning of 2005, RDI was acquired by Axess Technology which was then acquired by the Abacus Group in January 2006.

Operations and Strategy:

Abacus RDI Deltron's headquarters, warehouse and workshop are located in Villepinte near Roissy Airport.  Today Abacus RDI Deltron is a distributor for passives and electromechanical components to the French market.
