History:
Abacus Deltron (Austria) GmbH is part of the Abacus Group plc. Abacus Deltron (Austria), formerly Deltron Austria, was acquired by the Abacus Group in January 2006 as part of the purchase of the Deltron Group.
Historically, Deltron Austria has focused on value-added electromechanical component distribution providing specialist design-in sales and marketing services for international suppliers of electronic components. Since their acquisition by the Abacus Group they have extended their product portfolio to include a passive, wireless and display product offering.
Operations and Strategy:
Abacus Deltron (Austria) have adopted the Abacus Group philosophy to provide an alternative model to many of its competitors by focussing on local service and strong technical support. It is their aim to be fully accessible to customers whatever their size, aiming to become a strategic supplier to each by offering a broad and diversified product range which satisfies the customer’s demands.
