History:

Abacus Conelec, previously Promax then Abacus Promax, was founded in 1985 and was acquired by the Abacus Group plc in 1994.  Since this acquisition the product offering and geographical coverage has expanded considerably resulting in a well supported, broad product portfolio.

Operations and Strategy:

Abacus Conelec has adopted the Abacus Group philosophy to provide an alternative model to many of its competitors by focussing on local service and strong technical support. It is their aim to be fully accessible to customers whatever their size, aiming to become a strategic supplier to each by offering a broad and diversified product range which satisfies the customer’s demands.
