History:

Abacus Norway, previously Promax then Abacus Promax, was founded in December 1985 and became a memeber of the Abacus Group in 1994. The first office opened in Norway in 2001. Abacus Norway is supported logistically by a distribution warehouse in Them, Denmark and four further warehouses across Europe.

Operations and strategy:

Abacus Norway has adopted the Abacus Group philosophy to provide an alternative model to many of its competitors by focussing on local service and strong technical support. It is their aim to be fully accessible to customers whatever their size, aiming to become a strategic supplier to each by offering a broad and diversified product range which satisfies the customer’s demands.
